Recession support

Many infrastructure organisations are preparing resources and information to help third sector organisations through the current recession. Here are some resources that we have come across:

  • PERS redundancy toolkit (for use by employers). Scroll down to the Action Plans and Toolkits section.

  • Building Resilience - Resource pack and toolkit covering funding, finance, governance, partnerships and mergers, and marketing. The pack contains an easy to use 'traffic lights' resilience checklist for each area covered. Pack coordinated by Voluntary Action Leeds.

  • A Crunch Response and Planning matrix, from Voluntary Action Calderdale and designed by Nixor Limited. This matrix is free to use for not-for-profit organisations. Email wylda@regionalforum.org.uk to explain your eligibility and request a copy. You can download an example of this matrix, as completed by Calderdale organisations.

Government and social policy impacts on all aspects of the work of voluntary and community organisations. Keeping track of the fast changing policy agenda can be a very time consuming activity.

The Regional Forum has developed this database to bring together significant regional and national policies.

KnowledgeBank

KnowledgeBank contains a range of research conducted by, on behalf of, or representing primarily the voluntary and community sector in Yorkshire and the Humber.  The database is regularly being added to and we encourage organisations to submit their research to build the resource.
